American dream-pop act Wild Nothing have unveiled their new video to enchanting track ‘Paradise’— starring the modern day Marilyn Michelle Williams. The beautiful video was shot in LA, New York, St. Maarten & Niagara Falls— chronicling travel by plane and the paradise found just beyond the window. Created by director Matthew Amato, the new version of the song features Michelle Williams reading from Iris Murdoch’s ‘A Word Child’, which was recorded by the man behind Wild Nothing— Jack Tatum, at the Rare Book Room in Brooklyn, where Tatum’s latest album Nocturne was also produced.
Jack Tatum started making music under the name Wild Nothing in 2009, creating indie-dream pop tracks and later releasing debut album Gemini to critical acclaim. His latest offering ‘Nocturne’— released on Bella Union Records, has garnered much attention and Wild Nothing are about to embark on an extensive European tour, beginning next week with some support slots with label-mates The Walkmen, before returning in late November for some headline shows.
