Printworks 002 in 50 Tracks – Warm Up Playlist

Printworks reopens this week (with 36 new speaker stacks). We have 50 tracks to get your body ready.

As the long nights close in, it’s time to pack away our sparkling festival attire and accept (sob gently) that the summer season of outdoor raving is over. However there is one respite; a brilliant winter in London’s clubland. In particular, we are gearing up for the reopening of Printworks after the venue’s glorious debut in February this year.

The 5,000 capacity location in Surrey Quays has already announced an October to November calendar of events collaborating with some of the biggest brands in the business; The Hydra, Afterlife, Ram Records, Paradise and more. Add to that the development of 36 new suspended speaker-stacks to beef up the Press Hall’s sound and we’re drooling at the mouth to get stuck in.

The LWE team have now topped off this season with a colossal range of further dates throughout December featuring some of the most legendary artists in the game. First up is a DJ set from the guys that taught an entire generation to rave in the 90’s, The Chemical Brothers. The big beat pioneers will headline a yet to be announced line up and a special extended evening from 6pm – 2am.

The closing weekend is a double-header of big blowout shows. Saturday 9th December sees another veteran international superstar, Berlin’s Paul Kalkbrenner, taking the helm for a live performance. Finally, on December 10th, Printworks will bring together a techno heavy line-up featuring Rebekah and Benjamin Damage along with the demi-god himself, Richie Hawtin.

Everything kicks off this weekend with a huge opening party showcasing heavyweights like Maceo Plex, Rødhåd and Daniel Avery. We have put together a playlist of weapons produced by artists from across all of this season’s line-ups to prepare your body for a winter filled with transcending experiences deep in the steel chambers of Surrey Quays.
