Liberty London Collaborates with 3 Designers from London College of Fashion, UAL.

Joseph Stands, Pascal and Fotini Handra – three talented budding designers from London College of Fashion, UAL. collaborate with Liberty London to create a  directional and contemporary collection for Spring\Summer 18 named, ‘Alpine Symphony’.

The designers had exclusive access to Liberty London’s famous studio where brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Loewe, Paul Smith and Richard Quinn worked in the past.

This collection features the luxurious Tana Lawn Cotton, carefully crafted architectural structures, combining floral patterns with geometrics and pleats ALL aiming to project a playful and charming effect.

Daniel Pascal, Tanner Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear, “I’ve used the dynamic geometric prints from the Fair Isle range and juxtaposed this with the charismatic and sweet floral print of Heidi. I’ve combined the prints together, before pleating them to give the floral a more graphic edge.”

Joseph Standish, Fashion Design and Development, “The collection consists of a traditional denim jacket five-pocket jean using re-purposed garments fused with the Liberty Tan Lawn Meadow Melody Print to create (the first of its kind, I Think!) all-over statement denim pieces. This is paired with an oversized puffer jacket perfect to keep you protected in the harsh mountain peaks.”
