I Scream Factory is a non-profit collective showcasing ice cream-inspired work across fashion, photography, film and fine art. Ice Cream, the melting queen of delicacies, has proven to be the perfect metaphor for life itself as it is fragile, temporal yet pleasurable: In other words, one luscious femme fatale.
Within four years Alexandra Plesner‘s ice cream-based MA project for Central St Martins has turned into an international artistic playground.
ISF has been given the opportunity to host an exhibition from August 27 to September 3 at the prestigious Hoxton Gallery in London, and ISF needs your support to help raise £ 8,250.00 for the exhibition to go ahead.
I Scream Factory supports first and foremost young creatives. The collaborative still responds to the same simple brief: ‘Life is like ice cream, eat it before it melts, one lick at a time’.
Through the years, the factory has put out icy treats from photographers like Takeshi Suga (Japan), Lena Vazhenina (Russia), Nadia Sarwar (UK), Chloe Tun Tun (Swiss Burmese) and Aitor Santomé (Spain), thevideo art of Elva Rodriguez (Spain)and sculptures from Anastasia Zesenkova(Russia).
