Grace Wales Bonner, Susie Bubble and Christopher Raeburn are amongst the stellar line up of London creatives and designers offering free fashion masterclasses and workshops at luxury outlet district, Hackney Walk from March 25. These exclusive opportunities will allow attendees to try out their skills under the guidance of London’s most prevalent and exciting designers and creatives all for free!
Created by Hackney Walk as an important part of their Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the Stitch Academy aims to inspire Londoners to find out more about the fashion industry. Last year’s line up included designer Henry Holland, Sharmadean Reid from WAH Nails and designer Holly Fulton.
The Stitch Academy concept was launched in 2013 by Hackney Walk to ensure that the local fashion industry, local community and businesses benefit from the growth of Hackney Walk.
Hackney Walk and The Stitch Academy also continue to support important initiatives such as the Hackney Shop and providing free studio space for young designers, giving local designers the best possible start in their business careers.
