Girl about Town – It feels a lot like Christmas

Well, Halloween is over, so too is the slew of insta videos with dramatic make up – slash – costumes makeovers for partays, and now all things are geared towards Christmas. And what better way to celebrate the festive period with a walk through of some of the best events and Christmassy-things to get you in the mood.

Harrods X Dolce and Gabbana

Harrods have partnered up with Dolce and Gabanna to offer the ultimate in Christmas experiences. From November 2nd to December 28th a traditional and festive Italian atmosphere will be the main focus of the world’s most famous department store. The partnership will feature special window displays, dedicated pop-up spaces throughout the store, a traditional Italian street market with pupi, lighting, carousels and decorated trees as well as a dedicated Dolce&Gabbana Christmas Tree on Hans Crescent.

Every floor of the department store will be custom decorated for the occasion, starting on the ground
floor with a special pop-up boutique and a Christmas market on the 4th floor full of captivating items, many
of which will be available exclusively at Harrods, transporting visitors to the heart of a real Italian market.
Our personal highlight? A painter will be on hand for shoppers who would like to personalise their new Sicily bag with special
hand-painted designs.
