Blue Tit Crouch Hill Launch Party

London’s blogger elite turned out for the latest expansion of the Blue Tit Salon empire.

With salons in Dalston, Clapton, Brixton, Peckham, Brockley, East Village and Streatham, Blue Tit is the chopper of choice in all of London’s edgiest districts. Their colour transformations and modern cuts for women and men have earnt them a growing celebrity fan-base and coverage everywhere from Wallpaper to ELLE. Now they have ventured further North East to Crouch Hill with a bright, spacious new location. I ventured down to their big launch party to get the full Blue Tit experience.

Trims were soundtracked by back-to-back in-store DJ sets from the likes of Eliphino and Theo Fabunmistone, whilst punters enjoyed Duppy Share rum cocktails during their rinse and repeats. One striking characteristic about all Blue Tit salons is the characterful interiors that catch the eyes of passers by. The new location is no exception, with beautiful pink subway tiles, exposed wooden beams and clean strip lighting, all designed by Blue Tit co-owner Perry Patraszewski. If their salon business wasn’t busy conquering the capital, I’d suggest they were in the wrong business.

Effortlessly cool staff offer a personal touch that guides customers towards their perfect cut. My barnet’s triple threat of thick, poker straight, cow-licked hair is no problem for my stylist. My cut feels sharper, more manageable and won’t leave me with curtains like a long lost member of Westlife at the first drop of precipitation.

With my “fashion-forward Premier League striker” haircut being a breeze for my stylist, it was up to the other guests to put the Blue Tit team through their paces. Female fashion influencers from across the blogosphere enjoyed highly technical cuts and innovative colouring. It is in these fields that Blue Tit are pushing the boundaries, realising the visions of the latest trends with absolute finesse.
