On 30th January 2018 in city of London, designer Alexa Chung held a launch party at Moth Club in celebration of her third collection – ALEXACHUNG. Her family and friend came together to support and take a glimpse of her ‘one of a kind’ collection, dance on the light-up disco floor, lay on the Union Jack bed photo booth and to take a few sips of pints. In attendance? Lucy Boynton, Amber Anderson, Tallulah Harlech, Pixie Geldof, Henry Holland, Charlie Barker, among others.
Chung’s idea was to celebrate the ‘explosive’ 90s music, the Britpop movement, rebellion and well-known heros which all had a massive impact on her life and others. The best of the best music of all time played at the party; being dj’d by a bunch of people – Dom Chung, Rhys Webb from The Horrors and Lou Hayter.
To celebrate the new collection, the brand released a new film for the ALEXACHUNG Fantastic collection
A celebration of the Brit Pop inspired collection titled ‘Fantastic’, the film transports you from a misty seaside town to a world of wonder. Directed by Jesse Jenkins with creative direction by ALEXACHUNG, the film presents one’s journey in search of belonging, contending loneliness through clothes, and the long road one travels in coming of age.
